When it comes to taking care of their employees, Careem has left no stone unturned. In its recent collaboration with Ruhbaru, Careem has decided to provide mental health consultancy to its captains and its colleagues. The collaboration has come into effect as World Mental Health Day 2021 is nearing. Ruhbaru will play its role by providing mental health awareness sessions to Careem’s Captains and Colleagues. Moreover, it also provided telehealth services to the Captains.
The sessions covered several key areas to promote a healthy work environment. Moreover, a session was also conducted to give captains road-safety exercises and counseled them on how to avoid road rage. The sessions also taught the audience how to improve mental health and identify early signs of depression.
Ruhbaru is also collaborating with Sindh Mental Health Authority (SMHA) to provide captains with a helpline to provide spot-on consultation from professional psychologists.
Zeeshan Baig, Country General Manager, Careem Pakistan, stated regarding this collaboration,
“Mental wellbeing is perhaps one of the most important things to keep a check of while going forward with one’s life. I cannot emphasize enough on the significance of it. We are extremely glad to partner with Ruhabru to help our Captains and Colleagues in this aspect and hope they make the most of it.”
Careem offers its customers a huge range of opportunities. The Super App currently has 800,000 Captains registered on its platform and has invested more than $100 million since its launch in 2016.
